Moresby Infected problems

[POSSIBLE SPOILER][/POSSIBLE SPOILER]I have been having trouble with the infected type zombies in moresby when I kill one three more appear . The point I'm trying to get at is that their glitchy as hell I shot one in the head six times with a lv.22 sluggish pistol and it didn't go down. They spawn too often either my weapons are broken or I'm out of ammo. If you ask me this is complete bs how quickly they spawn.

were you doing the 'heads of cerebus' mission? on the third leg i had the infected spawning one after another, must've killed me about 20-30 times. i ended up running away after finishing the mission . they only rapid respawned on me in the middle part area (the last leg of mission). for me it was isolated in that location. but wow, was it frustrating, i couldn't walk 5 steps without one chasing me down.

I was having the same issue, it felt like they were just resetting over and over, i'd kill 3 and then 3 more would instantly pop, the only way i could get it to stop was to leave the general area for a moment and go back, and they would just leash and de spawn. I think it's bugged O.O I wasn't even on a particular quest i was just roaming and they kept coming.

Yep kill them and they keep coming. I'm guessing it is in the middle area of the city? Is so there is where they keep spawning for me.

Pretty much, i died like 20 times there cause of it, i had to get off i was getting mad! Cause i mean it usually spawns you kind of away from Zombies, but it kept spawning me RIGHT there, and then after like 5-7 deaths it put me back to the church and i was like "I'm so done right now" lol.
I was over exaggerating with the 20 deaths haha!

I finally gave up now i'm just finding ways to kill myself jumping in flaming dumpsters is my favorite.

Know what helps with the runners/walkers? If you jump on a car or truck they usually (sometimes they glitch and can kill you) just stand next to the vehicle pawing at the air. Crouch and you can smack them in the head till they're dead.

When I am in the city, I always take the high ground, cars, trucks and rooftops. something that is new lately, is that the infected have learned to climb ladders. They are now following me up on the roofs. What up with that? They were not able to get up there before. Does that ability come to them when they level up?

They are now following me up on the roofs. What up with that? They were not able to get up there before. Does that ability come to them when they level up?
Exactly what i was doing and then i quickly realised i wasnt even safe on the roof, I mean come on the rooftops were my recovery spots lol

Actually, I kinda like it even though its a bug. Because it is a zombie invasion, so it is "realistic" if you can call it that. Sometimes you just have to realize that you cant hang around, and you have to make a run for it. I have been walking around in Moresby doing quests and stuff now for 2 days. And there hasnt been a single minute where I felt safe. I have always felt on the edge, and I get a shock every time I hear a/some infected approach. And even though the suiciders arent that dangerous, I really hate the sound they make. It gives me chills. The chargers or tanks are easy. Anyway. I absolutely love this game. Its awesome to finally play a zombie horror where I actually feel jumpy, knowing that stuff can jump out at you whenever.

They don't climb ladders that I've seen, but the infect have always had the ability to jump and climb up on things, like cars, dumpsters, and what not. Much like the infected from L4D

They climb up the ladders, seriously. Come on, its one of the spots where I actually felt safe and here they are actually growing some brains to see the ladder and climb it up. I just make my last stand there

yup, infected zombies are the worst of em all, give me 100 rams at once rather than 5 infected >.<

Yeah It adds a bit of realism , explains why theres less survisors and so many zombies can spread to so much more. there are still a few safe spots you can find, but not many. Ive learned in some locations, closing a door behind you can save you.

Agreed. Rams are easy, and actually quite fun to fight, despite their unnatural big-ass size. Infected are more like that annoying uncle who you cant get rid of, and who roam family parties with stupid jokes. Ok, bad example. But they are quite annoying. :P

lol I also often find myself closing every door behind me, just to be safe. :P
