Quest glitched?

I am playing co-op with someone, and we're on the ashes to ashes quest and we have got the fuel canister and we took it to the guy but when we try to put the fuel canister by his feet there is no option to do so. We have tried dropping out of each other's games and re-starting but it's still not working, has anyone else experienced the same/similar problems?

Yeah, we tried that too and nothing. =[ We even tried selecting a new quest and then the ashes to ashes one but that didn't work either.

Yeah, i was just playing single player on ashes to ashes when i encountered the same glitch. I bring the gas canister to Mike by he doesn't take it or anything. It's ridiculous.

You need to put the tank next to the to the pump and hold X.
