update on dead island for coop?

I heard they were sending out an update for the game today , anyone know if thats true and if its true what time will that be out ? I try to play online and it never lets me connect and i am getting upset about it ;(

I would imagine it will be sometime before the weekend at least. The 360 patch released Wednesday last week and they have been working on the PS3 one nonstop since then. Sorry you guys are having to wait so long. :(

If you are on ps3, I have found that the only way my game successfully joins after accepting an invite from a friend is when I exit from single player mode to main menu and accept the invite from my PS menu. This is also the way I have minimized the "flash-back" effect alot are complaining about where you lose your progress of approximately 2 levels. If I join from single player game (and do not exit to menu) the invite will hesitate and eventually fail to a black screen stating "error connecting" or something similar. In both instances where this occured I flashed back 2 levels worth of progress on my character. So far so good since following this protocol. No issues joining others following above method thus far.

No I'm JK :) I'm sure it's not the easiest thing making a game that crosses multiple platforms and to keep it bug free. But it seems like they're trying there hardest and I'm pretty pumped for the DLC.
