I'd like to welcome you all to this website's very first proper contest!
This one will require all of you to co-operate together, for a chance at winning some AWESOME prizes!
Some of you may have noticed already that there's a new "Google +1" Button on the homepage, so here's the deal:
Any person who votes should comment in this thread to notify us that he did so (plus we'll all be able to see anyway as the numbers go up).
Me and the mods will be conducting a list of all the participants in this contest.
Several prizes are to be gained from participating:
*First of all, regardless of whether you all manage to reach the 100 Mark or not, EVERY participant will be personally awarded 50 Experience Points by me! I want everyone to gain from participating!
*If you guys succeed in reaching 100 +1s, 5 random participants will be selected to receive one of the following Legendary in-game weapons:
Assassins Greed
Bouncers pal
Bushmaster
Gabriels Sledgehammer
Italian Plumber
A 1/20 chance to win something awesome, just for clicking a button!
Not only that, but if you guys reach 200, ANOTHER set of 5 participants will be selected, and so on!
The contest starts right now, so get to work! Feel free to refer friends to get them to sign up/vote, and to spread the word about the competition!
Also, All of these legendary weapons have been generously donated by our beloved user "King" (who will gain a special status as an Alpha Donor once the prizes are handed out). So be sure to thank him as-well!

Apparently (due to some coding issues) you can add the suffix /forum.php to "deadislandforums.com" and Google + will look at it completely differently.
I'll be doing my best to fix this, but just know that some users might see different numbers in the +1 counter than others!

First day Results: 27 +1s - Not bad at all, but you'll need to step up the game a little bit if you want those prizes!
