Personally I think it's great! This can really add some more atmosphere to the game, and help with the immersion.
I have to admit that fighting zombies in broad daylight is nowhere near as scary as when they can lunge at you from the dark.

perfect idea, the fact that the actual game its self doesnt have a night / day cycle was a complete let down. night will make the game harder more tense and scarier, only a good thing!

Totally agreed with everyone. Was a huge let down that everything was in daylight. Can't wait to be scared witless due to not being able to see zombies just hear them.

Yes this wold be cool, everything is better in the dark when it came to Zombies :)

the sewers are dark enoigh, i don't want the eye strain of night maps. Most night maps are not colored in any way. Just black and white = lazy developers.

Night is an understatement in this map, you literally cannot see 5 feet in front of you at certain sections of the map. Flashlight is a must, but runs out of power so fast.

I think I got spoiled playing DI, I'm not used to having so many zombies to kill at once! The night map was killer, I went back to easy so I could continue plunging to my death.

its a nice adrenalin rush for me, more and more zombies coming for you *;D I'm tensed how long (how many waves) I can stand them in each arena *;D !

Arena D is the night map, and it also is the easiest of the 4 arena's. The one Dark and I got to round 41. It really is so easy from the spot we found, plus the torch is quite easy to maintain I have found. Is definitely the easiest though, and that makes me kinda sad, I was hoping the arena would be a little harder. I was hoping this night one would be intense too =/
