My Bloodbath Arena Review/Tips/Info etc

Hi guys,

As all I'm doing is playing Bloodbath Arena today I thought I would give my feedback on Dead Island's new DLC.

- 250G New GamerScore

- Get to the Arena by using Fast Travel

- New "Red Hot Blade" Mod in Arena Lobby

- Able to get your stored items (Jin) from a box

- 4 Different Arenas (Based on arena location and difficulty)

- Round based game (Like Call of Duty Zombies)

- Bonus objective at start of each round (shown top middle)

- Tesla Bomb Knife Mod found in Arena A

- Any "Rare" items that are carried by zombies are highlighted to you at the start of a round, and the Zombie is "Red" on the minimap. Game indicated when someone has picked up the rare item.

- Fast paced. 15 seconds between rounds. Hordes of zombies (very much like CoD zombies). I like this as was feeling that zombies are a little few and far between in the main game.

- Amount of Zombies left indicated each round.

- So many zombies that when you blow up a suicider the game lags!



I have played Arena A and Arena B so far. Arena A is daytime in rocky/cliff area and tight lines. Arena B is in night time (yay!) and in a swamp village. The only previous achievement I didnt get was set 10 zombies on fire, and I now have it there are that many! All in all, exactly what I was expecting - which is excellent!

I will add more things as I find them out.

Correct, but there are leaderboards and everyone will want to be at the top! (well I will :P) so I will continue to play regularly

sounds great , is there actually like alot of zombies though or is ten being exaggerated to a million? hopefully there is no exaggeration as this game so desparatly needs hordes!

Starts off Round 1 4 zombies, then goes up by a few each round. I got to about round 17 so far and they all just come at once! (about 35 of them)

arena a.b SMALL, arena c not that big, arena D, not that big <-- not very good, and by time travel

yeah you choose from the start, and yeah there all in the time travel, i fort they would be big but there not bigger then the first islands :(

when one oif these arena is as big as the resort map, then I'm pretty much satisfied *;D !!!!

No, they are tiny in comparison. More like the size of Police Station, or just a bit smaller

Do you go to the fast travel maps to be able to travel to them ?
and do you take your weapons with you or start with nothing ?
and finally the XP and weapons you accure there you take back to the main game !!

thats it i promise (for a few minutes anyway !)

- You take your whole character and all items with u from game
- All exp/items etc go back into main game with you

and finally the XP and weapons you accure there you take back to the main game !!

There is a Fast Travel in the arena lobby. I also think you can just leave by going through a door but haven't checked yet to see where you end up (probably from where you left)

Using Fast Travel you go to Arena. That sends you into Arena lobby (after a cut-scene intro). There is then a shop, repair place, storage, and fast travel in that area, along with 4 doors to where you choose which arena to go into

The chest in the arena (jin chest) is that for every char or is it as it use to be only for the char you are at that time?

When in an arena, you can go out to the lobby at any time, or you keep going until you die and the game is over (at which point you can either restart or go back to lobby)
