Where is the sonic pulse grenade?

i downloaded the bloodbath arenas for PS3 and I'm pretty sure it was to come with a sonic pulse grenade mod blueprint. does know where the blueprint is because i looked all around the arena lobby and the four other arenas and found different blueprint mods but none of them were the sonic pulse grenade.

Perhaps this follows the Halo 2 "Flood Juggernaut" error. it was added into the game, but there was no spawn location, therefore there was no way to find it without an entire recoding.

This is the official description of the Bloodbath Arena DLC...


In the Bloodbath Arena DLC four different arenas offer new challenges that can be played alone or in coop mode. It’s a desperate fight for survival where waves after waves of unrelenting zombies attack, one more gruesome than the next! In this DLC characters can loot experience points and items and bring them over to the campaign mode. Players can show off their skills in zombie fighting with the newly implemented leaderboards. The brain wave bomb, a new exclusive weapon, tops this DLC package off.


The Bloodbath Arena DLC will be released on 22nd November for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system at midnight PST for US.
The European DLC will follow on the 23rd November at midnight GMT.

On the 22nd November the DLC will be released for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft at 12pm PST.

The DLC package is free for all customers who bought the Pre-order Edition. For the others it will have a price of $/EUR 9.99 and 800 Microsoft Points.

the PSN store says differently it clearly states:

So the grenade is in the game as i said. but where?

btw the Brain wave bomb and the Sonic pulse grenade are the same thing just saying.

Look around the world if you have the 5 mods from the arenas or youtube it

I love how people like dikkie all over the internet are not helpful at all in finding the mod, and claim its not in the game due to a name variance in various postings about the DLC. A quick google search for either in reference to Dead Island will show multiple results in relation to the DLC having said exclusive item.

Ranting aside, I heard a rumour from a player on the PSN that after getting to round 50 the CO is supposed to give you a mod. He had heard it from someone else, and didn't mention anything about what mod it would be and seemed clueless to the existence of the brainwave bomb mod.

A friend and I rushed to round 52 and returned to the lobby, but no mod was available. We also returned at the beggining of round 1, so maybe you need to leave an arena after level 50. Also maybe its a specific arena you have to get to level 50 on. I've gotten past wave 50 on at least 2 maps I think and atleast to wave 30 on all but one.

If any PC users can zip the source code for the DLC i'd be glad to take a look for any triggers that might be relevant to getting the mod.

Deep Siver is the publisher, they don't do anything but ads and funding really.
Techland is the developer, the people who actually made the game and are responsible for its coding

I contacted the Dead Island support team and even though it is mentioned in the details on xbox live marketplace it isn't included in the DLC.

Here's part of the response I got:

"This particular weapon, the sonic pulse grenade, has been modified and
changed. The Bloodbath Arena DLC now features even 5 new weapons instead of
just one. Have fun trying them all out."

the Red Hot Blade mod was supposed to be in the game originaly hence its existence in the bradley game guide for dead island...

Yeah that's the response I got from Dead Island support team, I also spotted another issue where in in game achievement requirements didn't match the ones of Xbox live, someone needs to get there ass fired because half the info on Microsoft live seems to be incorrect
