Don't know about other platforms, but it got to the point where almost every time I ride in the truck that the game would freeze. And I gather it's happening to others cuz someone would always leave the game during the ride or when they couldn't exit the truck. So here's a solution... go to your map menu when riding and follow along, the game will indicate you are paused, and you can tell by the map when the ride is over. Been doing this for a couple of weeks and haven't froze once...use for cars too.
