Hey guys! As some of you may noticed we now have a dedicated Dead Island Wiki page:

Some people have been asking how to help out with the Wiki page and post information. So I am making this thread to help you guys out.
First process -
Go to http://www.deadislandforums.com/forumdisplay.php/16-Dead-Island-Forums-Wiki
Click on "Post New Article"
Enter in a detailed article Title. Example: Dead Island Weapons
Click "Start Editing"
Second Process:
It will now open a text editor, just like you would have for posting on the regular forums.
To get the article to look like this: http://www.deadislandforums.com/showwiki.php?title=Dead+Island+Blueprint+Weapons
You have to use the Header button http://www.deadislandforums.com/vault/images/bb_headline.gif
Once you press that button, this box will pop up:
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y269/BobloKid/headerbox.jpg
Just type in 0 and hit OK. Once you hit that the following BB code will end up in the text editor:
[**H="0"][/H**] (Without the **'s)
In between the brackets - [**H="0"][/H**] you type in your Header Title, like so:
[**H="0"]Machete[/H**]
REMEMBER you have to hit the Header button(http://www.deadislandforums.com/vault/images/bb_headline.gif) every time you want to put a header on the article.
For example on this article: http://www.deadislandforums.com/showwiki.php?title=Dead+Island+Blueprint+Weapons
I have many headers such as "Impact Mod" and "Lighting Craft" so while your editing it will look like this:
[**H="0"]Impact Mod[/H**]
Impact mod information here.
[**H="0"]Lighting Craft[/H**]
Lighting craft information here.
You can also add images to each of these headers and articles by using the standard IMG bb code: [img**]image url here[**/img] (Once again, without the **'s)
Example:
[**H="0"]Lighting Craft[/H**]
[img**]http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y269/BobloKid/th_275px-Naild_Craft.png[**/img]
The Naild Craft is a weapon made from a blueprint in Dead Island. The Nalid Craft can be combined at a workshop using nails and a wooden weapon, such as a baseball bat or a stick, and it costs $50 to make.
- Remember to NOT use any **'s like I did above, I only used them in this demo so the actual code wouldn't work.
It would be a great help, if a few people helped me fill out our Dead Island Wiki with lots of game information. PLEASE make sure to TAG ANY SPOILERS if you are going to post information.
