I registered on this site just to complain, something I'm not too proud of! But anyway, I have the PS3 version and I'm suffering all the same glitches as everyone else: Can't connect to a co-op game, which was the main reason I bought the game, and can't progress through the single player campaign because of the lack of a save function. These two faults mean to me that the game is utterly broken. I know there is a workaround to progress in single player but I don't expect to have to use a cheat to save my game when I've shelled out hard earned money for the experience. Because of these major faults I will definitely think twice before buying a Techland game again, which is a shame because before I discovered my progress wasn't being saved I was really enjoying the game!

Anyone have any idea when a patch to fix these faults will be released? It's supposedly this week but does anyone know what day?

Also, I think I read somewhere that Techland will be releasing free DLC to apologise for releasing a broken game, assuming this DLC is the Bloodbath DLC that I already have a code for because I pre-ordered the game, what will I, and everyone else who pre-ordered in good faith, be receiving by way of an apology?

His complaint was however legit, he ordered for something , he was told he'd get the privilege of getting the DLC free, what now if everyone gets it free? He'll get the next one? Probably not. As mentionned before my bug is related to scaling of items in the world on 2nd playthrough. the whole drop loot system has to be thinked over again. Same thing for the cash drops. Only the quest givers are scaled.

Haha, liked your response further up! I wouldn't be upset if people like me who pre-ordered didn't get any freebies like everyone else is gonna get, but it would be nice I know I'm still gonna enjoy the game when it eventually works but I think by the time it is fully patched up Gears 3 (this day next week, sweet!) will be out so Dead Island is gonna have to take a back seat for a while.
