What happened so far: mother and brother died, father brings kid to city, they find survivors, dad goes out to clear an area of undead and leaves son alone...

On With The Story:

It was a sad day, a horrible day, yet it was the best day for the survivors in the Church.

Dad came out from the back of the Church holding an bloody axe but was limping. When I asked him if he was ok he just looked at me and smiled then said, "I got rid of the undead-

"HOORAY," everyone yelled in unison.

-but... I got as I was fighting them... *shows arm* I got bit."

And then without a second to say goodbye he smiled at me then he grabbed his axe a-and he ended it right then and there. Blood splattered all over the floor and his head went flying to the ground. We all just stared at the headless body for several minutes not believing what we saw. M-my father took his own life to save us all.

I cried for days after the burial for my father after he commited suicide. I vowed on the day he died I will help all survivor, kill all bad people that wish no help but chaos, and to kill all and every single undead zombie until there is none left on this island.


------------------------------------------13 Years Later-----------------------------------------

It has been years since my vow and I have practiced how to use every type of weapon. I have mastered using blunt and sharp, long or short, thick or thin types of weapons. I have mastered throwing things. My aim is perfect, only God can help you now.
Especially if you see me with a gun. I have killed no zombies but have been training everyday for many hours for all these years for this day. I heard of a man with a helicopter and I plan to find this man to get out of here.

I grabbed my trust frying pan weapon and said by to Mother Helen and the other survivors then opened the door and... *BAM!* smacked in the head by someone. I woke up and a beautiful women named Xian Mei was above me asking if I was alright. I got up and said yes then asked her why she came, she answered, "I wish to leave this island to live in peace."

I said, "ha, you won't find anything here, follow me, I am going on an adventure to a man with a copter out of this hellhole."

"Ok."

So we left together and made it by ourselves for the next few days when we saw a bunch of people holding guns to 5 survivors as hostages while 3 more people trying to rob a man. The man was strong and was able to fight off the attackers. He saved the other 5 survivors then picked up one if the robbers gun who forgot to pick it up. He saw us then aimed it at us. We froze and looked at each other. The man put down the gun and called us over. We introduced ourselves to him and he introduced himself. His name was Sam-B and he came here to sing for his 'fans.'

"So Sam-B, what were you doing here with all those survivors in the middle of nowhere?" I asked him.

"Me and these people here were heading to the warehouse which is just up ahead, wanna come?"

"Gladly."

"So be it. Follo-

"Wait, Logan we must continue our quest and go find that man who can help us." Xian answered.

"Your right Xian but we should rest for today, come on lets go to the warehouse first."

The Next Day At Warehouse
...........

"Come on lets go."

"Wait!" Sam-B yelled while rushing towards us, "you can't leave, atleast not without me. Hahaha." He laughed while grabbing onto Xian and me.

So it was settled, we would continue our quest together, Sam-B, Xian Mei, and me Logan. I felt like we needed another person but I didn't mind just us 3. So we left and went onward.

"AHHHH!"

A yell! A yell that came from the streets. I must go see what it was that did that!

I ran around the several buildings wih Xian behind me and Sam behind her at the end. I came to a stop when I saw...

Sorry for the delayment. For obvious reasons which I just said I was sick and was not able to make part 2 but here it is now so I hope you enjoyed this and thanks for reading.

It was nice to hear the story from the point of view of a child. Everything seemed to flow so fast, which makes sense, considering a child's mind would be racing under those circumstances.
