You on Xbox360? If so, that explains why. In xbox you can hack items into the game. We PS3ers can't do that so we don't have M60s.

I just googled your gun and other related guns. Its apparently a glitched item. Meaning, yes, it is a hacked item technically.
Sorry to say but your wielding a gun that is not in the original campaign, meaning its cheating.
