Been a while since I played Dead Island. Even longer since I played in Jungle, and with a friend, I do remember using the left hand of glova and Jason getting up REALLY fast. I remember knocking him down some other way, forgot how, and it took multiple stomps.

Before the first patch, he would get up after like 5 seconds after you killed him. Over and over. And he wouldn't repair or respawn when he got back up. If he was burnt black he got up like that. If you stomped his head while burnt black-same deal, just pop right back up.

yeah the patch really neutered him.
