(PS3) No Dead Island install or update?

Hey everyone!

I bought Dead Island for PS3 like 4 days ago, and I've experienced something strange.
I'd first like to announce that it's the Game of the Year Edition.

When I inserted the disc into my PS3, it just started!
I was not prompted to install a game update, and it wan't installing all the files to my PS3 system.

Is this normal?

Yeah the game does not install on Ps3. Also cannot save to external device. Goty edition is latest version.
