i recently bought the dead island game of the year edition, just for the ripper mod and the other content it comes with...i was frustrated that they had fixed the glitches in the original dead island, which blows balls if u ask me!! cuz i was able to blow thru the game in a heart beat with those glitches, anyways i was wondering if i played thru the dead island game of the year edition got the ripper mod and what not for all the characters, could i back up all my data on my ps3 to an external drive, restore original ps3 settings than put in the original dead island game load all my saved games back into the ps3, would i still be able to play my saved data from the game of the year edition with the ripper mod and what not, on the original dead island, in order to take advantage of the glitches in the original game?? anyone know?

on the original dead island, how do u get the ripper mod?

You would have to pre ordered it. The thing im not so sure about is that GOTY and regular are the same. GOTY has the patched and DLC already in it. I think for normal DI you would need to uninstall patched, but problem is, I'm not sure what happens if you are lvl 60 or have the patch 1.3 mods.

Actually, if you have Ps3 Plus, I think you can use a save. But you would lose everything cuz the original game, before the patches, only went to level50. I remember reading that a guy tried it and lost all his stuff over 50.
