Official Dead Island Riptide Info (As it becomes known)

All the main characters in Borderlands are coming back in Borderlands 2. Borderlands characters also had very little backstory, but they are expanding on it in BL2, hope they do the same with Riptide.

ALL 4 main Borderlands characters are coming back, but as NPC's.
Borderlands 2 will have a brand new set of 4 characters.

Christ guys, Gamescom is just starting today. Although there is no demo, that doesn't mean there won't be a trailer or an interview, give it some time. Also if ya read the first post it specifically states

I'm starting this thread now so that all the OFFICAL Dead Island Riptide info that becomes public can be obtained and shared with the community easily

Pretty much just says "Dead Island: Riptide was announced at Gamescom this week, and will be another "huge co-op experience"." That's all I found in the 5 minutes I looked for stuff.

Well im excited for a new Dead Island game. Im just a little worried that its called Riptide, because of all the constant references to the monsoon coming. I hope its not just

Your helicopter crashing after the end of the game due to an incoming monsoon and you having to try to get new transportation off the island. Like an expansion pack before Dead Island 2 when Yerema spreads the infection into a new country.

I dunno if you're gonna understand what I'm about to say, but I just think this mega-thread shouldnt've been posted in the first place unless real info had been revealed. The thread title is misleading, if you get English, all those eclamations points had me thinking there was something new to hype up but no, hence clicking on this and getting a big jug of NOTHING and thinking just maybe TPGT didn't know what he was doing.

Now then, I already apologized this morning on the chat and I'll stop now.
