    DLC Question

I was wondering if the DLC for DI was worth buying? Also would it make more sense to just get the Game of the Year edition which includes all the DLC?

On the Arena--is it fun on single player? Also, when you die would you lose a percent of money that you earned in the campaign? (I'm on Xbox & prefer no mods/cheats)

    Thanks!

If you already have Dead Island then I recommend getting the DLC's for 1600MSP.
If not, go for the GOTYE version.

Arena is decent in singleplayer IMO, but with friends it is a lot more fun.
Yes, you do lose money in Arena, but if you play co-op, your friends can revive you before the round ends, meaning no monetary loss.

I recommend getting the GOTY Edition. The Bloodbath Arena is really fun. Escpecially in Arena C. From what I've experienced I have never lost any money from dying.

It would be much better buying the game over again. You can only buy the Bloodbath Arena and the Ryder White Campaign from PS Store/XBox Marketplace. Where as the GOTY Edition comes with those, the Ripper Mod and the Exploding Meat Blueprint.

Bloodbath is not only fun but it is a good way for Experience and Money. It's really addicting to play. :P

Thanks guys. I bought the Game of the Year Edition and just beat the Ryder Campaign--it was great seeing the other side of the story.

The only thing that sucks is my favorite character to play has over 1.5mil, which I would hate losing a percent in the bloodbath (I experimented with a new character & you do lose $ each time you die). Any tips on how to safeguard the money before heading into the arena or making sure you get out alive (besides multi-player revives)? (and sorry if this is in the wrong forum now!)

You can exit an Arena the way you entered.

    Edit:
I'm not sure and you would have to test it, but you might be able load last checkpoint in the revival countdown. Although you will lose all progress from the checkpoint, you probably won't lose any money, so it's what you prefer really.

You could always put your save on a flashdrive, then play arena with your HD save or vice versa. Use one for single play, and the other for co-op. I started doing this because of all the Dbags with grenade launchers that have invaded the co-op.

I used my fav for the 15 waves for every character achievement, and luckily a suicide did not wipe me out. So now I'm using Sam who is the only one who isn't lvl60 & so benefits from the experience--plus he doesn't have a lot of $--so I can enjoy without worrying

Thank you for the advice as well!
