Hello everyone, my name is Kody(Kodered) and im 16 years old and recently getting back into gaming in both PC and Xbox. Well I joined these forums because i love Dead island, although i have never beaten it I'm looking for a group of people who love the game also and just zombie games in general,I'm also hoping to making new friends to game with here

i hate to bring negativity to the forum but this really really bugs me.do you have to post the same welcome note every time,i notice both current moderators do it,is it from the forum moderators handbook or something? i appreciate your efforts at keeping this forum alive and the fact that you are both friendly and helpful and very welcoming,but every time? the links are helpful yes but the message itself is kind of generic and i am a little embarrassed by it.if i had received this messaged when i first arrived i'd be stoked but then when i saw it said again to another new member i'd feel a bit let down,little bit distant.maybe i am reading too much into this,but as a new member i'd like a more personalised welcome message......not asking for much am i..lol. sorry for picking rrobb but it really bugs me.

oh and hi and welcome to the forums kody,there are heaps of cool people to play with here,i have had some of the best games with people from this site,pity i'm ps3,i'm always looking for people to play dead island with.

It is a generic and repeated greeting, but it makes sure we hit the important points. If I were to post "original" greets in each thread, they would turn out the same anyways. There are only so many ways to welcome somebody and try to fit in important links.

yeah i guess so,don't get me wrong i do appreciate the fact that it isn't always fun being a moderator and the fact that you both put a lot of time into the forums and keep things clean and fun.....it's just i'm a huge fan of originality.least yours isn't as daggy as the welcome message sartex writes...lol.calm down sartex,only playing!
