What I find interesting is that the guy has claimed he likes FPS games, and the closest thing he's ever done to actually develop one was Killer7. I think what needs to happen is GHM should make a game like that for Hobo With A Shotgun.

I think it would only be repetitive if you relied on the same combos/moves - plenty of fun things to try out in this game.
A bloody screen...so real!
I was bored one evening and watched the cutscenes. Made for a very bizarre movie.
you mean *retry, right?
I saw some gameplay of it and it looked like it would get kind of repetitive.

Not at all, the five sections are quite different, one even has mini-arcade games built into it - okay, it is all essentially hitting zombies with pom-poms or your chainsaw, so that's never going to change much; but the game does alter with difficulty level - I had to deal with a octagenarian breakdancing couple on the first level that were not present on normal difficulty, and they were tough.
You can also buy newer combos all the time, such as the butt attack and the chainsaw gets upgraded to include secondary fire and gains other uses too. Each boss level was designed by a different programmer and that makes a difference. All in all it's pretty good fun.
