Has anyone read this book? I knew it existed for quite some time, but have heavily procrastinating on picking it up. If you have read it was it average, adds to the story and depth of characters from the game?

I doubt that seeing as how this is common sense when it comes to adaptations of movies, books, video games, and comic books. They are usually never the same as their original media they where on.

I liked the Dead Space: Martyr novel, but I dunno from what I've read about this DI tie-in it's just probably not that good. A comic series from Avatar Press would be badass and maybe a crossover wraparound cover showing a Ram stomping a bunch of Crossed or Stitched ones.

Nonononono, maybe I didn't make myself clear, the dialogue is horrible, they completely **** up the story, Sinamoi is a dick but Jin still gets raped. Its cool how they tie it into kuru. Whenever mentioning Xian they say her full name. It might seem small but it's so ****ing annoying. Hey Xian Mei! What? Well Sam B asked if Xian Mei was here. Catch my drift? Very little violence, they get a van and do home improvements on it a la dawn of the dead and Mowen gets a bigger part than the game which is ok.

Well I'm about to find out. It was on sale on Amazon so I bought it. I'll read and then give my opinion.
