    personaly, waste of $10

i thought that this was different. no leveling up, once you die you restart, tooooooo many infected that just ruin it, suiciders everywhere. this dlc is just annoying. if you think of buying it, watch some vids on youtube and look up some ratings for it. dont waste $10 like i did.

I actually said the same thing you did. I just bought it yesterday I kinda liked it. Yea it is hard which is fine cause I play dead island so much I never die it was kinda nice to have a insane challenge. There was one spot with 2 rams at the same time

My first taste of Dead Island was the Ryder White campaign. I didn't know who he was or that it was DLC because I bought the Game of the Year Edition with the content already in the game. I played the Ryder White campaign for 45 minutes before quitting. I was brand new to the game and had no idea what I was doing and being overwhelmed by ever-spawning Infected nearly ruined my chances of ever picking up the game again.

The potential fun the Ryder White campaign brings can easily be spoiled by the difficult and never ending onslaught of Infected. The sewers are, by far, the most frustrating. Not only are the hordes annoyingly difficult to beat when cornered but the constant screaming waves of the Infected are enough to drive a person to quit purely from the noise. While it is challenging for players and has, dare I say, a better story than the actual game itself the negatives do outweigh the positives in my opinion.

Oh man that would be a crap first time. Start with Xian Mei or Sam B, the best two characters. My favorite is Logan though because of boomerang.
I got a dig bick. You this read wrong. You read that wrong too.

There should be a disclaimer saying you should play DI 200 hrs or more before playing ryder whit campaign. The 2 ram thing wasn't that hard. I seen them soon as I opened a door and quickly threw a grenade and got them both. One part yhat kinda sucked was near the end there was no work benches for a while if it wasn't for the head stomp I would have been in troiuble.

Yes those two rams where simple, but I just used my melee weapon on them. As for the price $9.99 I did not see it as a waste of money. I enjoyed it for what it was worth, but I would have liked to have seen new side quests for Rider and perhaps have his story take me to all the locations.

I wasn't really interested in the dlc when I first heard about it... It would be nice to see some more story, but I wish they would have just made a free update and added it as an incentive for more people to buy the original game... or something of the sort

yeah but this seems to be the normal for games now a days, you pay 60 bucks for them then end up having to pay 10$ for as many DLCs they can make.

but if you just got the game i would definitely wait. i guess i consider myself a veteran to this game and had a little trouble in some spots on it, i could see a new person dying a insane amount of times in the ryder white campaign, i remember my second play through trying to make it through the quarantine zone lol. i died and died and died, it was impossible. now i can just wonder through it no problem

Nah I got the game a month or so after it came out, played through it by myself the first time as I usually do... then went for co-op.... I would get the Ryder white dlc if I didn't already know all of the added story elements from it...
