can't pick up items thrown weapons

Anytime a zombie hits me with a thrown weapon, I seem to be unable to pick it up. I tried using a different character,profile, and save device. Nothing seems to work. Has anyone else had this problem?

You can't normally pick up the items they throw at you. Usually just a board or pipe anyways. Kill 'em and thay might drop something else tho.

i had the same problem. then one time a random zombie threw a machette at me and i was able to pick it up. but that was only once

I tend to agree with nag... in my experience you can't usually pick up the items zombies throw at you. However, there have been a few ocassions that I was able to. As for the problem of not being able to pick up an item in general, Ive found that if you crouch down r move to a different angle and try that you can usually find a "sweet spot" to snag those items that just dont want to cooperate.

I can do the same, but it is always horrible weapons like a piece of wood or a pipe... I don't know what the other people are talking about but I have always been able to pick them up... I'm on ps3 if that matters.

I may be wrong. I don't try the majority of the time. Usually only when I get hit with something while im perched somwhere and I dont want to throw one of my good weapons at the zombie and then have to retrieve it so I try to nab what he's thrown. Usualy junk so usually pass it by. It's hard to say whats going on from one persons game to the next....sooo many glitches. LOL

yeh i found out that there was alot of glitches which was very annoying as sometimes they made me lose progress or weapons.

Well, are they broken? The weapons I mean. Cause If they are and are beyond repair then, yeah your out of luck. But It might just be your game being a petty like crap.
