Dead Space 2

* Posted in Zombie Lore because what is a Zombie? The living dead! Does Dead Space have Zombies? Yes, they are just mutated Zombie Aliens or Alien Zombies...take your pick, but people die and then come back to life.

So I completed Dead Space 2 a few days ago and I like the fact they removed the Chapter cut scene from Dead Space. It gave it a little more open feel. Some of the new Zombie Aliens were weak and not very impressive well others were okay and was a good addition to the game. The different suits was way better then simply upgrading the same suit at the store. The game uses the same boring scare tactics: Jump Scares, random noises, dropping bodies, enemies going by a door, etc. and it wasn't that impressive.

The story is basic and some what predictable at times, but overall it was okay. However, Isaac gets betrayed again by a women and his dead girlfriend who really isn't her spirit. You think Isaac would have learned this from the first Dead Space that the image he is seeing of his dead girlfriend is not real. However, they lower him to even more stupidity by having him follow her around again only to be betrayed again by her near the end.

It's not a review, just my thoughts and my Dead Space thread is for Dead Space not DP2. Also the game has been out for long time and the spoilers found are extremely minor (nothing you wouldn't have caught on to from the 1st one.

So, I read and heard spoiler before and it never ruined anything for me. Plus in truth the spoilers are very small and not that shocking as DS series is quite predictable.

dead space 2 is just awesome. it basically a zombie game with aliens... well i guess they are alien zombies cause they are supposed to be reincarnated dead things. i bought dead space 2 for like 12 bucks used a few months ago at gamestop so im sure its probably still cheap. great gameplay, great story, amazing graphics, a few puzzles that arent crazy hard to figure out. great weapons.

for some reason i LOVED dead space 1 and 2 but they really have to re-playability for me. i played 2 i think twice through just to try and get some achievement points but havent touched it since. but for 10-15 bucks you really cant go wrong
