you can via amazon and yea, I don't see it really being worth it.

The only bonus so far is the metal case book or whatever it's called. And, like TPG said, Amazon is preordering. I also saw a display at Best Buy.

yeah ill preorder just for the heck of it, no hurry though. i actually went to pick up dead island the day it came out at like 5pm and got the last copy, so dont want to miss out getting one

It doesn't come out till Dec.31/ 2013 no? A little early for pre-ordering unless there's bonus material like DLC. I got suckered into pre-ordering DI for that Ripper Mod which is like the worst Mod in the game, mind you it did give you the Bloodbath arena for free. Guess I will wait and see, a steelbook case isn't going to make me jump at it.
I'm sure they will release other editions before their release, Dev's always do this.

I think December 31 is just a date they give to have a rough idea of when it comes out. I can see it coming out earlier.

I'm sure the pre-order now won't be different, if you pre-order it now or a week before release.
I pre-ordered Borderland II 2 days before release, and I still got the same thing as everybody else.
