Help finding songs

I'm calling on you guys for some serious help. I'm in the midst of writing a satirical essay on how to write a hit pop song and need help coming up with a couple songs.

I need some pop songs that sample and sing another song from an earlier time (ex. Lupe Fiasco - The Show Goes On uses Modest Mouse-Float On)

most raps songs use samples as the chorus. Eminem used Aerosmith's Dream on for Sing for the Moment. Pop wise Bitter Sweet symphony by the verves "sampled" music from Andrew Oldham Orchestra version of "The Last Time" which is actually a cover of the rolling stones song of the same name

I was going to use Eminem's as an example of what I wasn't looking for I want the actual rapper/singer singing the song, not just the original one sampled.

your song has the music of one song and then "original" lyrics, so the verve one still fits that, but ya most rappers just sample beats from other popular songs. Flo Rida "right round" and Dead or Alive's "you spin me right round (like a record)" is another example
