Has anybody else gotten really impatient waiting for a set release date like I have? In my opinion you shouldn't allow pre-order before there's a set release date, and it's just asking for customer complaints. Lol

I agree with you, there's always the chance it can go duke nukem and go to developer hell or it could be cancelled all together. As far as I know though there is no set release date, when one is found it'll be in the riptide news thread.

Not a big deal to me. I'm used to delays and changed release dates with Rockstar games. I never pre-order no matter what the incentive anyway.

I pre-ordered a game once, and it was need for speed hot pursuit for the original playstation, and it gave you codes to unlock a bunch of dev cars, but it wasn't like it is now where ya could go online and find what everything was to get a code ya either knew somebody who had it or ya were the person who had it, this was like '96-97 mind you...lol

ha i still have that game. yeah i think the codes were just words you put in. i think the fast car was called a el diablo or something.

usually when a release date is set too its usually pretty far along, like a year or so so im gonna try not to get to excited

It was el nino and the code to get that car was spoilt, lol, is it bad i remember that?

I spent so much time playing that game, especially when you could be the cops and lay spike strips. Just great.

HP original had the playing as cops too, but I agree I loved most wanted
